Wyoming Elk Hunting/Guiding
Jackson Hole and South Pass, Wyoming are known for their scenery, pristine environment and trophy elk hunting. Our prime elk hunting areas (24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 75, 79, 81, 82, 84, 99, 100) are some of the best the Rocky Mountains have to offer. All of our guides work hard, ride for the brand, and have years of experience guiding hunters, bugling, and tracking.
September and October finds us high in the back country of the Gros Ventre Wilderness chasing bulls with archery and rifles.
October through November we hunt the Yellowstone National Park elk herds as they migrate to the National Elk Refuge in Jackson Hole, WY. These hunts feature a variety of accommodations with an excellent opportunity to take a trophy bull. Our trucks, trailers, and horses give us the mobility necessary to hunt the different migration routes successfully.
The terrain includes large meadows, dark timber, high open parks, and steep canyons. Our hunting style aggressively combines a mixture of hunting methods including spotting and stalking, glassing open areas, sneaking bedding areas, driving (both by foot and horseback), and generally spending as much time in the field as possible. We begin hunting before daylight and usually return late in the day.
